Bookings
Bookings for classes are non transferable and non refundable, except under extreme circumstances and at the discretion of the class leader. Once a booking is made, the booking must be paid for within 1 week of the commencement of the class, otherwise the class leader has the right to remove your booking and offer the place to another family.
Should the class leader need to cancel a class for personal or family reasons, an additional class will be offered or a class voucher will be offered to the value of the class which must be used within 1 month of the date of the cancelled class.
COVID affected classes - If the class, term, event or birthday party you have booked is required to be cancelled due to any issues, guidance or lockdown regulations; you will be issued a credit note to the value of 50% of your booking for use within 1 month of the date of the original booking. Please note, no refunds will be provided due to a COVID outbreak.
Supervising your child during the class
Parents/carers are solely responsible for their child/children at all times during Little Messy Learners classes; for example, although care is taken to ensure materials used are non-toxic, parents/carers should take sensible precautions to ensure that materials aren’t ingested.
Please be aware that some activities involve materials which can become slippery so extra care must be taken.
Please wear old clothes that you and your child are comfortable to move about in and would not be worried about getting wet or marked. Little Messy Learners takes no responsibility for clothes which are stained, marked or damaged.
Little Messy Learners reserve the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behavior.
Medical conditions, illness and allergies
You must declare all medical conditions including allergies during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change. Little Messy Learners accepts no responsibility for any illness or injury that occurs due to a medical condition or allergy if they have not been formally notified. Although the greatest care is taken to ensure the products used in the class are suitable for all children, Little Messy Learners accepts not responsibility for any injury or illness that occurs during participation in this class should the product be ingested by your child, such as an allergic reaction, choking etc.
You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class. If your child has had a fever, sickness or diarrhoea within 48 hours of the scheduled class, please do not attend. Please contact me and I will transfer your booking to an alternative class. Please note that you are only eligible to one class transfer per term and it must be taken in the following term. .
You must give minimum 12 hours notice if you are unable to attend a class, any notification after this time will not be eligible for a transfer, or it will be at the discretion of the class leader.
Class transfers are not available due to holidays, appointments, personal errands etc.
Photography during the class
The class leader will take photographs of the children and their parents/carers attending the class. Please be advised photographs of your child may be used for marketing purposes for Little Messy Learners Australia and Little Learners UK Ltd.
Data protection
All information collected electronically and manually will be stored within the Australian Privacy Act 1988 which regulates the management, storing, access and correction of personal information about individuals. For more information about your privacy and information please email me justine@littlemessylearners.com.au. Due to current COVID regulations, your information and contact details may be passed to relevant Government bodies for use in contact tracing should there be a risk to you or your family of contracting COVID 19.
